Pune: Two Employees Set Shop On Fire After Being Fired From Work; Furnitures Worth Rs 50 Lakh Burnt

Pune, 29th June 2022: The incident took place in the Uruli Kanchan area when the two set fire to the shop after being fired from their jobs. A case was registered against both of them in this regard.

The accused have been identified as Omkar Gaikwad and Aniket Mote, both residents of Uruli Kanchan, Solapur Road. Swapnil Bhagwan Kanchan (36), a resident of Uruli Kanchan has lodged a complaint at Loni Kalbhor Police Station under Pune City Police.

 

The accused Gaikwad and Mote were in working in Kanchan’s shop. Both were fired a few days ago. Kanchan has expressed suspicion in the complaint that the two set fire to the shop. The fire damaged furniture worth Rs 50 lakh in the shop. A case was later registered against them. Sub-Inspector Gaikwad is investigating the case.
