Pune: Two Engineering Students Drowned In Dam Near Hinjawadi
Hinjawadi, 3rd March 2022: Two engineering students died after drowning in the Kasarsai dam today.
The deceased have been identified as Shashank Sinha (19) and Ravikumar Vinodkumar (19).
According to the information given by the police, both the students are from Bihar. Both were studying in the second year of engineering at DY Patil college in Akurdi. They had come to the Kasarsai dam area around 10 am with four other friends.
They were standing next to the edge of the dam. Three of them slipped and fell into the water. One of them was pulled out by the rest of the friends, but Shashank and Ravi Kumar drowned.
They had already died when local youths pulled them out of the water. Police are investigating the case.
