Pune : Two labourers killed in lift collapse at under-construction building

Pune, October 26, 2019: In a tragic incident, two labourers working at an under-construction building in Kothrud fell to death.

The Pune fire brigade received a call at 11.52 am today and rushed to the spot. The incident took place at Sidhi Meghasrushti project being built by M/s Sidhi Promoters near Kumar Parisar in Kothrud. The project is located next to Mahatma society. The 16-floor building is a residential project.

Fire brigade officer Pathrudkar said that two labourers had fallen down after the the make-shift lift collapsed. The 108 ambulance was called and the doctors declared the two labourers as dead.
