Pune: Two Lakh Fake Cash Seized I At Khadki Bazar Area; Three Arrested By Directorate Of Revenue Intelligence

Pune, 15th October 2022: Rs Two lakh fake cash was seized from the Khadki Bazar area. In this case, three people including a Paan shop owner have been arrested and 400 fake cash of Rs 500 have been seized from them. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and Military Intelligence (MI) arrested them.

 

Atul Kumar Naresh Kumar Mishra (23), a resident of Shewale Towers, Khadki Bazar, Ravi alias Suraj Virender Shukla (35), a resident of Nava Bazar, Khadki, Rajul Kumar alias Guddu Bhai Rajbahadur Sen (46), a resident of Lake View City, Lohegaon have been arrested in this case.

 

Accused Atul Kumar Mishra has a Paan shop in the Khadki Bazar area. Accused Ravi Shukla and Atul knew each other. He was working in Atul’s shop. Ravi had fake cash with him and told Atul that he would get Rs 30,000 if he distributed fake cash of Rs two lakh.

According to this, Atul had left Khadki Bazar area with fake cash of Rs two lakh. The officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence got information about his arrival at Elphinstone Road. After that, the information about this was given to the intelligence department of the military.

 

Atul was caught in a trap on Elphistone Road. 400 fake cash were seized from him. After that, the accused Ravi was taken into custody. Then he informed the authorities that the fake cash was given by Rajul Kumar. Police then detained Rajul Kumar.

 

The court has ordered the accused to be kept in police custody. The investigation revealed that Rajul Kumar had brought fake cash from Kolkata. A thorough investigation into the matter is underway.
