Pune: Two Persons Injured In Severe Fire Incident At Shops On Satara Road 

Pune, 1st May 2023: A massive fire broke out in the early hours of the morning at 4-5 shops located near D Mart on Pune-Satara Road. The fire started due to an explosion of a gas cylinder and resulted in two people being injured.

The fire quickly spread to three shops which were selling home appliances, kitchen appliances, and mobile phones. The shops contained a variety of items including gas grills, chimneys, gas geysers, water purifiers, fridges, washing machines, TVs, mobile phones, and batteries. The explosion was so loud that it damaged a two-storey building and debris fell onto the road outside. A bike was also completely burnt in the fire.

According to fire brigade, two persons are injured, and one of them is the owner of a shop. The fire brigade quickly arrived at the scene and was able to bring the fire under control. The danger has now been removed.
