Pune: Two Persons Robbed At Knifepoint In Lonavala; Valuables Worth Rs One Lakh Looted By Three Men

Lonavla, 23rd January 2023: The incident of two people who went for a walk in the Sahara Bridge area of Lonavala city robbed at knifepoint took place on Sunday, January 22 at around 8.30 pm.

A nineteen year old youth, a resident of Table Chawl, G Ward Lonavla has filed a complaint in this matter. He and his female friend went for a walk near Lonavla Bridge last night when three unknown men threatened them with a knife. Also, after stabbing his hand with a knife and seriously injuring him, they forcibly took away his iPhone, a two-tola gold chain, and a silver ring from his friend, totally worth Rs 1,12,400.

A case has been registered in the Lonavla city police station based on the complaint. Police sub-inspector Surekha Shinde is investigating the matter further.
