Pune: Two-Storey House Collapses In Pune Camp, One Person Dead
Camp, 26th June 2023: A devastating incident occurred earlier today when a two-storey house located at 830 Dastur Meher Road in Pune Camp collapsed, resulting in the loss of one life. Emergency response teams, including fire vehicles from the Pune Cantonment and Pune Municipal Corporation’s Fire Brigade, swiftly arrived at the spot to provide assistance.
The collapse claimed the life of Stanley D’Souza, a 50-year-old resident of the ill-fated house. Tragically, despite the rescue efforts, Stanley could not be saved. Another resident, identified as Jerry D’Souza, aged 60, sustained injuries in the incident. Jerry is currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital.
The cause of the collapse is yet to be determined, and authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the factors contributing to this tragic incident.
