Pune: Two Thieves Arrested By Crime Branch For Stealing Vehicles

Pune, September 12, 2020: The sleuths from the Crime Branch Unit 2 of Pune City Police have nabbed two thieves and recovered stolen bikes from their possession.

 

Acting on a tip-off received by policemen Mohsin Shaikh and Chandrakant Mahajan, a team led by Police Mahendra Jagtap laid a trap near Sassoon hospital and caught the two thieves. The arrested persons have been identified as Vijay Wahagmare and Tejas Wahagmare, residents of Bhist Baug road, Panchvati Nagar, Ahmednagar. Police have seized two bikes from their possession.

The action was taken under the guidance of Additional Police Commissioner (crime) Ashok Morale, Deputy Commissioner (crime) Bachchan Singh and ACP Shivaji Pawar. The investigation team included Assistant Police Inspector Jaywant Jadhav, Sub Police inspector Pratap Singh Shelke, and police personnel Yashwant Amre, Anil Usulkar, Kishor Vaggu, Aslam Pathan, Mohsin Sheikh, Chandrakant Mahajan, Gopal Madne.
