Pune: Two Youths Rape 12-Year-Old Girl In Chinchwad, Arrested
Pimpri, 11th May 2022: The two youths raped a minor girl and threatened to kill her and her family if she told anyone about it. Pimpri Chinchwad police have arrested the two in the case. The incident took place on April 21 at the area under Chinchwad police station.
The accused have been identified as Laxman Sanjay Kshirsagar (18), and Rohit Ramesh Sutar (21), both are the residents of Chinchwad. Kshirsagar is a welder while Sutar is an autorickshaw driver. The victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Chinchwad police station on Tuesday (May 10) against them.
According to the information given by police, the 12-year-old daughter of the complainant went to her cousin’s house to deliver a box of flour around 8 pm on April 21. While returning home, Kshirsagar picked up the girl and went to Sutar’s room. The duo raped her.
“If you tell anyone what I have done to you, I will kill you and your family,” Kshirsagar threatened the victim. After that Sutar also raped the girl. She did not reveal the incident to anyone.
The complainant mentioned in the FIR that both the accused allegedly molested the girl while she was picking mangoes from a mango tree near her house on May 9 at around 7.30 pm. This time she confided in her mother who filed the complaint with police.
Accordingly, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. Police Sub-Inspector Venkat Pote is investigating the case further.
