Pune: Unable to Find Job, Man Dies by Suicide in Pimpri Chinchwad
Pune, 10th June 2022: A man died by suicide in Thergaon after not being able to get a job.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh Kumar, a resident of Kerala. The incident has been registered at the Wakad Police Station.
According to the police, the body was found floating in the Kejudevi embankment at Thergaon on Friday morning. Police rushed to the spot and pulled the body out of the water. A suicide note has also been discovered by the police near the spot.
The note read, “I was looking for a job in the city. However, I did not get the job. I have no money and no food to eat. So I’m giving up on my life. Throw my body in the pit, because there is no one close to me to mourn for my death.”
The police are conducting further investigation into whether Suresh wrote the letter himself or if anyone else is behind the incident.
