Pune: Unidentified Gunman Fires at House in Wagholi, No Injuries Reported

Wagholi, 25th December 2024: In a shocking incident, an unidentified person opened fire at a residence in Wagholi early Thursday morning, sending waves of concern across the locality.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 am at the house of Nilesh Subhash Satav (35), a resident of Vadjai Vasti on Baif Road in Avhalwadi, within the limits of Wagholi police station, Pune city police.

A cartridge casing was recovered from the scene, confirming the use of a firearm. Fortunately, no one was injured in the firing, according to Senior Police Inspector Pandit Rejitwad of Wagholi police station.

“The motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained. A case is being registered, and further investigation is underway,” added Rejitwad.
