Pune University: 97% Students Appear For Exams On First Day, 3500 Students Contact Helpline With Queries

Pune, 12th July 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) second-semester examinations started today. On the first day, 74,000 students appeared for the exam.

During the exam, over 3,500 calls were received by the helpline for information about exam schedules, admission cards, usernames, passwords, etc., while over 450 chat requests were received, informed Dr Mahesh Kakade, Director, Board of. Examinations and Evaluation, SPPU.

The online examination was conducted in three sessions: morning, afternoon, and evening. Out of 76,969 candidates, 74,772 candidates appeared for the exam. 97.15% of students appeared for the exam. There were no technical difficulties in the exam.

For the first time, voice recording has been used in exams. All these voices will be investigated and after that, if there are cheating cases, their details will be released, said Kakade.
