Pune University And AFMC Join Hands For Research

Pune, 29th May 2021: On Thursday, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) signed an agreement with the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) as part of an initiative to prioritise research in the field of health on the backdrop of Coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic. Both of these institutions aim to work in the health sector.

“If all the professors, researchers, and doctors who are working in the field of health come together, then certainly we can attain great achievements in this field,” said Dr Nitin Karmalkar, Vice-Chancellor, SPPU.

Under the agreement, faculty, research laboratories, educational programs, information, etc. will be exchanged during the period of research and students will also get internship opportunities.
