Pune University Backlog, Performance Improvement ExamTo Be Conducted From December 8

Pune, November 20, 2020: Against the backdrop of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has decided to conduct the backlog/performance improvement examination at college level from December 8 to December 20, 2020.
SPPU has also informed that the results will be published by January 10, 2021 and the exam will be conducted online and offline  with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for an hour duration.
For those students who opt for the offline exam, the exams will be conducted at the college level keeping in view the safety of students, teachers and non-teaching staff and the integrity of the exams.
Mock Test / Practice Test will also be conducted based on sample questions for students giving online examination.
A total of 50 marks will be taken on these 60 MCQs of the first year examination mentioned above and its result should be prepared by converting it as per the approved examination plan for the first year.
 Facilities and concessions will be payable to the disabled students as per the government decision.  Also, 20 minutes more time will be given to these students for the exam.  These students can hire a writer / assistant with the prior permission of the principal / director of the college / institution.
 Photocopy and re-evaluation facility will not be available for MCQ examinations which are conducted both online and offline.
 Student help desk should be set up in the college/institution to solve the problems and doubts that may arise before or during the examination.
 Remuneration for preparation of question papers of relevant examinations, conducting examinations etc. should be paid from the examination fees of the students deposited with the college / institution.  No correspondence should be sent to the University in this regard.
