Pune University Confirms To Give All Exams For ‘Combined Passing’ System

Pune, 29th July 2022: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has decided ‘combined passing’ for the examinations of all faculties for the academic year 2021-22 summer session. SPPU issued a circular on Thursday (July 28) that it is mandatory for students to appear in both the written and oral or practical exams in this assessment.

Combined passing has been decided only for the academic year 2021-22 as a special matter in the backdrop of Covid-19. It has been approved to declare the results of this year’s exam i.e. oral, practical, internal and written examinations, taking them together and not separately.

However, the university has clarified that if the student is absent from any of the applicable exams, this decision will not apply to such students. Circular No. 210 in this regard has been published on the university website.

Meanwhile, the university also appealed to students not to believe any other information on social media or any other platforms but to refer to the official website of SPPU.
