Pune University Exams To Begin From July 12 In Proctored Online Method With MCQs

Pune, 1st July 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has issued a notification for the semester exams from July 12. The exams will be conducted online with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The results are expected by August 15.
According to the notification, there will be 60 MCQs and students will have to answer 50 of them correctly. For science, BCA and engineering courses, there will be 30 questions for maths and statistics subjects and students will be required to answer 25 of them.
The exam will be for one hour. If there is any technical issue, then the answers will be automatically saved and students will get further time. Divyang students will get 20 minutes extra to complete the exam.
The university will conduct a mock exam from 8 to 10 July to make students familiar with the process.
The university has released a timetable of some courses on its website unipune.ac.in and students having any difficulty can login on students profile system sps.unipune.ac.in and make complaints.
Mahesh Kakade, Director of Examination and Evaluation, SPPU, said that about 6.5 lakh students are expected to appear in the second-semester exams for the 4,200 subjects.
