Pune: Birthday Boy Along with A Youth Drown In Lonavala During Celebration
Lonavala, 2nd July 2021: Two youths drowned in Kusgaon during a birthday celebration on Thursday. They were residents of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The drowned youths have been identified as Akash Gurav and Dhirendra Tripathi.
According to police, Gurav had a birthday last week and to celebrate it he had reached Kusgaon along with five friends. They entered a quarry for swimming where they drowned around 5.30 pm on Thursday.
The incident was immediately reported to the Lonavla Rural Police. The Shivdurg rescue team helped to fish out their bodies.
