Pune: US-Based Techie Abuses Wife Over Virginity Issue; She Files FIR After He Seeks Divorce
Pune, 21st January 2022: A woman has filed a complaint against her software engineer husband for allegedly abusing her physically and mentally because she was not a virgin at the time of the wedding. The case was filed after he asked for divorce.
The 28-year-old woman complained about it to the Hadapsar police station. Police have registered a case against the husband, mother-in-law, and father-in-law.According to the police, the woman is highly educated and works for a reputed company in Pune. Her husband is also highly educated and is a software engineer. He is currently working in Texas, USA.
After their marriage, the woman moved to the United States. The complainant’s husband accused her of not being a virgin after the first night. He repeatedly argued with her over this issue. They then returned to Karnataka. Yet, the arguments happened repeatedly. They are currently living in Fursungi. The accused threatened her for divorce, therefore she filed a complaint against her husband. Police are investigating the case.
These incidents occurred between January to 26th December 2021 in Texas in the United States, Karnataka, and Fursungi.
