Pune: Youth Murdered A Relative Due To Use Of Abusive Language

Pune, 21st January 2022: A 20-year-old man has been shot dead in Maval in Pune. The incident took place around 10 am today.

The deceased has been identified as Rohan Chandrakant Yeole and Avinash Shivaji Bhoir (25) is the name of the accused youth. Both are relatives and used to live in Khurd village.

According to Pimpri Chinchwad police, both Rohan and Avinash argued two days ago and the matter had escalated to abusive language. Out of anger, accused Avinash called Rohan out of the house. They fought again on Friday and due to anger, Avinash fired shots at Rohan from the pistol he had brought with him. One of the bullets hit Rohan in the chest and the other one grazed his arm. After this, Avinash escaped from the spot, informed Satyawan Mane, Senior Police Inspector, Shirgaon.

Meanwhile, Rohan, who was covered in blood, was rushed to a private hospital. However, Rohan died during the treatment. Accused Avinash was also injured and is undergoing treatment at another private hospital.

“The accused Avinash will be taken into custody as soon as he is treated”, said Inspector Mane.
