Pune: Uttar Pradesh election campaign argument results in Kondhwa stabbing, three injured

Kondhwa, 9th April 2023: In an unfortunate incident in the Kondhwa area, a gang stabbed three people during an argument that arose from the election campaign in Uttar Pradesh. The police have registered a case against five individuals in connection with the incident.

The injured persons have been identified as Kalamuddin Jameel Ahmed (21), currently residing at NIBM Road in Kondhwa, Amir, and Abrar.

A complaint has been lodged by Kalamuddin Ahmed at the Kondhwa police station against the accused, including Shakeel Khan and Kalim Khan. Kalamuddin Ahmed and the accused are originally from Uttar Pradesh and had previously argued during an election campaign for a Gram Panchayat two years ago.

On the night of the incident, Kalamuddin, Amir, and Abrar were leaving the Bhairavanath temple area in Kondhwa when the accused attacked and stabbed them. The three complainants suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a private hospital where they are currently receiving treatment. Assistant Police Inspector Mohite is investigating the case.
