Pune: Murder Of Kishore Tambe In Junnar Revealed; Two Accused Arrested

Junnar, 9th April 2023: Pune Rural police arrested the two accused who killed Kishor Tambe, the director of various executive societies of Tambewadi in the Junnar area. A preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused killed Tambe in a professional competition.

In this case, Pandurang Jijabhau Tambe (39), a resident of Tambewadi, taluka Junnar, district Pune, Mahesh Gorakhnath Kasar (30), a resident of Ale Phata, taluka Junnar, district Pune have been arrested. A preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused killed Kishore Tambe out of anger over professional competition and defamation. 

On 5th April, around 8:30 pm, Kishore Tambe came out of the house saying that he was going to the farm. He did not return home until late at night. He was reported missing by his family. Police formed teams to search for Tambe. A dog team was called to search for Tambe. 

During the investigation, the police received the information that Tambe was killed by accused Pandurang Tambe, Mahesh Kasar. The police detained both of them on suspicion. 

Reportedly, they both made Tambe drunk and hit him on the head. They confessed to dumping the body of Tambe at Muralidhar Pingale’s well on his farm. The police seized the car used by the accused to commit the crime. Assistant Police Inspector Sunil Badgujar is investigating.
