Pune: Valuables Worth Rs 9 Lakh Stolen In Burglary At Three Places

Pune, 10th June 2021: Thieves broke into houses in the city and stole Rs nine lakh from three places. Thieves have looted flats in Model Colony, Khadki Bazaar, and Hadapsar area. A case has been registered at Chaturshrungi, Khadki, and Hadapsar police stations respectively.

In the first incident, thieves broke into a flat in Nita Corner on Elphinstone Road of the Khadki Bazaar area. They stole gold and silver jewellery and cash worth Rs 6 lakh 17,275 in broad daylight. The incident took place on June 8th at around 10.30 am and homeowner Bhavesh Shantilal Nahar (41) lodged a complaint at Khadki police station. Sub-Inspector of Police Vikas Shinde is investigating the matter.

It was learned that thieves stole two microwave ovens, two coolers, and two ACs worth Rs 1 lakh 59,760 from a warehouse in Model Colony. The incident took place on June 8th and Nilesh Gothi (45, resident of Karvenagar) has lodged a complaint at Chaturshrungi police station regarding the same.

Apart from that, the thieves broke into a house in the Vetal Baba colony in Hadapsar and stole jewellery worth Rs 1 lakh 32 thousand. Tarabai Nage (age 63) has lodged a complaint in this regard. Sub-Inspector of Police Saurabh Mane is investigating.
