Pune: PMC To Distribute 5 lakh Flags For 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Initiative

Pune, 5th August 2022: Under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, programs were conducted at various places through the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). On August 15, 2022, 75 years will be completed since the country earned independence. On this occasion, the Central Government organized the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav activity of Indian Independence.

 

On this occasion, various programs are being implemented by Pune Municipal Corporation Primary and Secondary Schools, Regional Office, and Pune Smart City under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative by Pune Municipal Corporation.

 

At Balewadi under this campaign, a tree plantation program was organized by Balewadi Welfare Federation. On that occasion, trees were planted by Smart City CEO Dr Sanjay Kolte and Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Khalate. Also, Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Khalate went to the residence of freedom fighters residing in Aundh Baner Regional Office limits and expressed his gratitude by giving them shawls and rose flowers.

Patole, Ward Coordinator Vaibhav Sable went to District Parishad School Undri, where a door-to-door flag and cleanliness campaign was conducted on behalf of PMC.

 

Pune Municipal Corporation and Ghar Ghar Tiranga and the cleanliness campaign were conducted on behalf of the organization. Principal Surekha Mate and Rajendra Kumbharkar were present.

 

On the occasion of the said program, all the students were also informed about the Ghar Ghar Tiranga campaign. Public awareness was created about cleanliness where Municipal Assistant Commissioner Ashish Mahadalkar felicitated various heroic freedom fighters on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav.

 

Under the initiative of Amrit Mahotsav of Freedom, Bharatratna Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar Sports School No. 83B Malwadi, Hadapsar Pune of Pune Municipal Corporation Primary Education Department organized various activities like rangoli, painting, and speech competitions. The students of Shri Shivaji Vidya Mandir and Junior College in Aundh organized programs such as Rangoli to convey awareness messages and songs of devotion to the country.
