Pune : Video Of Ukrainian Singer Uma Shanti Apologising On National Flag Disrespect Incident Goes Viral
Pune 17th August 2023: A video of Ukrainian singer Uma Shanti apologising on the incident of disrespecting the Indian national flag during an event in Pune has gone viral on social media. The singer is claimed to have shared the video of apology on her social media profile. However, the video was not found on her social media profiles when checked to verify the same.
Several BJP leaders from Pune shared the video claiming that the singer apologised after the BJP Youth wing demonstrated in the city on Wednesday. “Thank you so much for yesterday evening event in Pune. One situation came, I just wanted to show my energy, show flag about Independence Day….to my audience. It looks like something bad…..I apologise because I love India I know what does it mean Indepdence and may be it looks some crazy. I am sorry for this. I do not mean something wrong, Sorry” the singer heard saying in the viral video.
It may be noted the singer and organisers of the event were booked after the video her disrespecting the national flag during an event at a restaurant cum bar in Mundhwa. The event was organised on the eve of Independence Day (On August).
