Pune: Wagholi Gears Up for Manoj Jarange Patil’s Arrival, Preparations in Full Swing

Wagholi, 19th January 2024: The residents of Wagholi are gearing up for the stay of Manoj Jarange Patil, who is set to leave Antarwali Sarati (Jalna) tomorrow for Mumbai. His route will take him through Pune, and he is expected to stay in Wagholi on Tuesday, January 23, as part of his journey. The Maratha brothers of Wagholi’s Kharadi area have commenced preparations for his stay, coordinating with workers and community members.

A recent meeting of the Maratha brothers was convened to discuss and plan the arrangements for Jarange Patil’s stay. Representatives from Wagholi, Kharadi, Chandan Nagar, Awhalwadi, Lohegaon, and neighbouring areas participated in the meeting. The open grounds of RK Group on Chokhi Dhani Road have been identified as the accommodation site for Jarange Patil and his accompanying workers.

While the organizers are yet to ascertain the exact number of activists accompanying Jarange Patil, preparations are in full swing to accommodate thousands of participants. The meeting included discussions on food planning, accommodation, water facilities, tea and breakfast arrangements, as well as ground cleaning and other logistical matters.

As part of the preparations, each interested household in the area is expected to contribute 10 Bhakaris for the workers accompanying Jarange Patil. The organizers will arrange for the necessary vegetables, and arrangements for breakfast on the second day of the stay are also being made.
