Pune, 19th June 2025: Several parts of Pune city and surrounding areas experienced light to moderate rainfall since early Thursday morning. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city is likely to witness cloudy skies and intermittent rain for the next several days.

The IMD’s forecast for Pune from June 19 to 24 suggests a consistent spell of light rain, with a generally cloudy sky expected throughout the period. While the rainfall is not expected to be heavy, it may help ease water shortages and bring down temperatures in the region.

IMD Rain Forecast for Pune:
June 19: Generally cloudy sky. Light to moderate rain very likely.
June 20 – 22: Generally cloudy sky. Light rain very likely.
June 23 – 24: Generally cloudy sky. Light rain likely.
Rainfall in the Last 24 Hours (till 9 AM, 19 June 2025):
The heaviest rainfall was recorded in Lonavala, which received 219 mm, followed by Girivan (160 mm) and Nimgiri (116 mm). Several other areas in Pune district also recorded significant rainfall:

Lavale: 64.0 mm
Chinchwad: 60.5 mm
NDA: 52.5 mm
