Pune: Ward Boy Arrested For Molesting Woman At Hardikar Hospital
Shivajinagar, 23rd June 2022: Pune police have arrested a 25-year-old ward boy who had allegedly molested a woman whose son was at the Hardikar Hospital for surgery.
The accused has been identified as Ayaz Sheikh (25), a resident of Khadki. An FIR is registered against him at Shivaji Nagar Police Station.
According to police, the woman’s son was admitted to the hospital on University Road for undergoing surgery. She was in the shower when the ward boy allegedly molested her.
She had reported the matter to the hospital authorities and then filed an FIR with the police. The accused had been absconding after the FIR was filed.
Acting on a tip-off received by policemen Bashir Sayyed and Avinash Bhiware, the accused was caught on the premises of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
