Pune: Warje Minor Boy Detained for Stealing 10 Two-Wheelers and Tractor

Pune, 12th April 2024: Warje Malwadi police have apprehended a minor boy suspected of stealing vehicles, including 10 two-wheelers and one tractor, with a total value of ₹5.5 lakh, reportedly for entertainment. The arrest was made during an operation by the Warje Malwadi Police.

Sub-Inspector Sambhaji Darade, on a patrol as part of Crime Prevention, encountered the boy near Khan Wasti while riding a bike. Upon questioning, the police discovered that the boy was a minor and the bike he was using had been stolen.

A minor boy has been detained by Warje Malwadi police for allegedly stealing vehicles, including 10 two-wheelers and one tractor, amounting to ₹5.5 lakh. The boy admitted to stealing the vehicles, including additional cars from the surrounding area, for entertainment.

The operation, led by Senior Police Inspector Manoj Shedge and Police Inspector (Crime) Nilakant Jagtap, seized 11 vehicles from the boy’s possession. The police conducted a Panchnama and found the boy with stolen vehicles.

This police action was carried out with the assistance of various officers, including Police Inspector Ranjit Mohite, Police Sub Inspector Rameshwar Parve, Pradeep Shelar, Bhujang Ingle, Manoj Pawar, Vijay Burukh, Bunty More, Srikant Bhangre, Vikram Khilari, Sambhaji Darade, Ajay Kamte, and Satyajit Londhe from DB.
