Pune: Watch Towers Soon To Be Installed In Tulshibaug For Women’s Safety

Pune, 14th May 2023: Tulshibaug is a famous shopping place in pune, focusing mostly on women. Watchtowers will now be erected in the narrow lanes of Tulshibaug to prevent thefts and mischief in the crowd. Tulshibaug Traders Association and Small Business Association, along with the Vishrambaug Police Station has decided to install watchtowers for the safety of women.

 

A meeting was recently held with the representatives of a trade association, and officials of Vishrambaug Police Station. In this meeting, Tulshibaug Traders Association decided to provide watch towers to the police. It was decided to erect watchtowers in front of Tulshibaug Public Ganeshotsav Mandal and the open space in front of Akshay Hotel. The watch towers will help to keep an eye on the misdeeds and thieves in l Tulshibaug.

 

The police instructed them to give uniforms to the employees working in the shops in Tulshibaug. Vendors standing on the street will not be allowed to sell. CTVV cameras are operational in Tulsibaug. It was decided to add some more CCTV cameras. Preference should be given to women employees in the shop. A loudspeaker system will be installed in Tulshibaug and instructions will be given using this system.
