Pune: Water Supply Disrupted in Moshi and Surrounding Areas Due to Unexpected Leak in Main Channel
Moshi, 11th April 2024: There has been an unexpected leak in the main water channel along Spine Road in Sectors 11 and 13 of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Urgent repair work will be conducted at this location to address the issue. As a result, the water supply to these areas will be temporarily suspended today.
Affected areas include Charholi, Moshi, Dudulgaon, Borhade Wadi, Chovisawadi, Wadmukhwadi, Dehu Road, Chakrapani Vasahat, Indrayani Nagar, as well as Pradhikaran Sectors 4, 6, 9, 11, and 13. Additionally, water supply will be halted in all areas of Chakrapani Colony and Sadguru Nagar. Normal water supply will resume once the repair work is completed.
Residents are advised to use water sparingly as tomorrow’s water supply may be irregular, with shorter durations, lower pressure, and disruptions. PCMC assures that efforts are being made to swiftly resolve the issue and restore the water supply.
Some drunk individuals were causing disturbances while the water line burst. PCMC stresses everyone must cooperate during such situations to facilitate the repair process and minimize inconvenience for all residents.
