Pune: Water Supply Disrupted In Pimpri-Chinchwad, Possibility Of Low-Pressure Water Supply Tomorrow As Well

Pimpri Chinchwad, 11th November 2022: The water supply in some parts of Pimpri-Chinchwad city was disrupted on Friday (November 11). Due to this, the citizens were greatly inconvenienced. There is a possibility of a water supply with low-pressure tomorrow (November 12) as well.

The work of connecting sub-channels to the main water channel was started on Friday morning. Due to this, the water supply in Jadhavwadi, Borhadewadi, Moshi, Dudulgaon, Charholi, Wadmukhwadi, Chovisawadi, Panjarpol, Sector 12, Indrayaninagar, and other areas of the municipality’s C, E and F zonal office limits was completely disrupted. This caused inconvenience to the citizens.

In this regard, Shrikant Sawane, Head of the Water Supply Department, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that on Saturday morning water supply will come late and with low pressure. Citizens should use drinking water carefully. Considering the population growth rate of the city and the future population, the municipality is constantly striving to provide regular and high-pressure water supply.
