Pune: Multilevel Parking At Pune Airport To Start On Pilot Basis

Pune, 11th November 2022: Multilevel Parking at Pune Airport will be started on an experimental basis. This measure will be taken to solve the parking problem at the airport. For the last few days, there has been a big problem with parking four-wheelers and two-wheelers at the Pune airport. And this is why ‘multilevel parking’ will be started on an experimental basis to solve the problem of traffic congestion.

This parking facility was supposed to be completed by April 2022, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the work was delayed till September 2022. However, now this work has been completed. The airport administration will use this four-storey ‘multilevel parking’ on a commercial basis.

Not only this, food stalls and some private offices have also been arranged on each floor along with parking. So the airport administration will get huge revenue from this parking.

Passengers can also make online payments through Google Pay, Phone Pay and Paytm. This ticket will be charged hourly, and the rate can be around Rs 20 per hour. With such a cheap facility, now airport passengers will save the trouble of finding another parking place.

Moreover, the work of the foot-over bridge connecting the airport has also been completed. Passengers will be able to go directly to the airport from this multi-level parking bridge.
