Pune: Water Supply Will Be Closed On 5th January In Shivajinagar And Kothrud
Pune, 2nd January 2022: On Thursday (5th January), due to the ongoing work of Pune Metro at Kamgar Statue, Shivajinagar, the main water distribution pipe will be closed. Along with this, also the 16 inches MS water pipe supplying water to Prathamesh Society along with the Kothrud area at Chandni Chowk will be closed for repair work.
Areas closed for water supply are as follows:
Kamgar statue in Shivajinagar, Civil Court, Kapote lane, Simla Office area, Modibaug area, Narveer Tanaji Wadi, old Pune-Mumbai road, Wakdewadi, Patil Estate, and others.
Kothrud Area: Shastrinagar, Lokmanya Colony, Right, and Left Bhusari Colony, Area on Veda Bhavan Road, Dukkarkhind, Hillview Society, Woods Royal Society, Paramahamnagar, Lakshminagar, Rahul Tower, Mutheshwar Colony, Gurujan Society, areas in Kothrud area will be closed for water distribution.
Also, it is stated that there is a possibility that the water supply of the above area will start with low pressure on Friday (6th January).
