Baramati, 10th March 2023: Pune city covers part of the Baramati Assembly Constituency. Ajit Pawar had worked to speed up the works of water, roads, and garbage projects in this area when he was the Guardian Minister. But all these works have been stopped now. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Baramati Assembly Constituency MP Supriya Sule said in a press conference that if the work is not done, a protest will be organized against municipal commissioner Vikram Kumar.

MP Supriya Sule held a meeting with Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar regarding the issues in the Baramati Assembly constituency today. At that time, former office bearers of NCP were present.

On this occasion, MP Supriya Sule said, “Ajit Pawar was the guardian minister of Pune district. At that time, there was a meeting with the administration every Friday. Due to this, various development works in the district were gaining momentum. But now that system is not in place and all systems have collapsed. Hence, we have to meet with Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar every month.”

“Also there are no corporators or district council members. Due to this, officials and citizens are facing many problems. All these events are happening, and there is no picture that elections will take place. Also, there was a method of meeting the previous Guardian Minister. Now, as there is no such system, we have to constantly approach the Municipal Commissioner.” BJP leader Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil was indirectly attacked by MP Sule.
