Pune Weather Alert: Light to Moderate Rain Likely on 16 September, Heavy Showers in Ghats
Pune, 15th September 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted generally cloudy skies over Pune for the week ahead, with varying chances of rainfall.
On 16 and 17 September, light to moderate rain is expected across the city, with heavy to very heavy rainfall possible at isolated places in the nearby Ghat areas. From 18 to 21 September, skies will remain generally cloudy, with very light to light rain likely each day.
Residents are advised to carry umbrellas and take precautions while traveling, especially in the Ghat regions where heavy rain may lead to slippery roads and localized waterlogging.
The continuous cloud cover is expected to keep temperatures moderate, providing some relief from the recent spells of heavy rainfall in the city.
