Pune: Wife Finds Policeman Husband at Pub with Another Woman During Alleged Night Combing Duty, FIR Registered

Hadapsar, 9th May 2026: A police constable from Pune has been suspended following allegations of domestic harassment and misconduct against him.

The suspended constable has been identified as Hanumant Gulab Kamble, a resident of Khadki. The action was taken by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 6) Sagar Kavade.

According to police officials, Kamble’s wife had lodged a complaint at Kalepadal Police Station in Hadapsar, accusing him of physical and mental harassment. She alleged that Kamble was involved in an extramarital relationship, assaulted her, and threatened to throw her out of the house and seek a divorce.

Based on the complaint, a case was registered against Kamble and his female friend.

Police said that on June 15 last year, Kamble informed his wife that he was on night duty for a combing operation. However, he was allegedly partying with his friend at a pub in Pimpri-Chinchwad. When his wife reached the pub, Kamble allegedly threatened her, claiming that no action could be taken against him as he was a police officer.

Officials stated that Kamble was suspended as his conduct had allegedly brought disrepute to the police department.
