Pune : Woman Arrested For Running Sex Racket In Moshi, Case Registered
Pune 31st August 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have arrested a woman for allegedly running a sex racket in the Moshi area. Two women who were forced into prostitution by the accused were rescued by police.
According to police, the officials of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police’s Crime Branch had received information about an alleged sex racket being run in the area. Accordingly, the police set a trap and the accused was arrested from the Spine Road area in Moshi and two women were rescued.
A case in this regard was registered at Bhosari MIDC police station under section 370 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with sections 4 and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
