Pune: Woman Arrested With 2.7 Kg Ganja Near Wakad
Wakad, 8th October 2021: A 62-year-old woman has been arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Squad of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Crime Branch for possession of cannabis (Ganja).
The arrested woman has been identified as Radha Balu Phadtare (62), a resident of Kalakhadak near Wakad. Two kilograms and 722 grams of cannabis worth Rs 68,050 was seized from her on Thursday, police said.
Police constable Prasad Jangilwad has lodged a complaint against her at Wakad police station. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act. Police sub-inspector Shingare is investigating.
