Pune: Woman Dies By Suicide As ‘Boyfriend Did Not Come Early To Have Dinner’

Moshi, 14th July 2022: A woman allegedly died by suicide in her house reportedly because her boyfriend did not arrive early for dinner. This incident came to light at Moshi on Thursday (July 14) morning.

The deceased woman has been identified as Sulochana Namdev Lekurwad (30), a resident of Gaikwad Vasti, Moshi.

According to Senior Police Inspector Shivaji Gaware, Sulochana’s husband died by suicide two years ago. After that, she came from Latur to Pimpri Chinchwad city. She was doing housekeeping and cooking for a living. She has four daughters who are studying in the village.

Sulochana met a man at work. They became friends and were going to get married soon. Sulochana and her boyfriend were currently living separately but used to eat together.

On Wednesday (July 13) night, Sulochana prepared the meal. She invited her boyfriend for dinner. But he did not come early. She may have died by suicide due to this reason which is predicted by the police. The exact cause of the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
