Pune: Woman Files FIR Against Live-In Partner For Sexually Abusing Her Son

Vishrantwadi, September 24, 2020: A 40-year-old woman has lodged a complaint with Pune City police against her 27-year-old boyfriend for allegedly repeatedly sexually abusing her minor son for the last two years.

Based on her complaint, Vishrantwadi police station has registered FIR against the accused, who hails from Uttar Pradesh, and currently resides in Lohegaon. He has been booked for offences under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and section 377 (unnatural offences) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to police, the woman and the accused worked in a travel company. They were in a live-in relationship for the last two years. The accused lived with her and her two children- an 11-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter. The incident took place between December 2018 and September 6 this year. Recently there was a break-up of the couple and he moved out of her flat.

As per the FIR, the woman said, “My son told me that whenever I was away for work, the accused called him in the room for a massage. He also forced him for oral sex”.

Police registered the case yesterday night and further investigation is going on.
