Pune: Woman Molested Via WhatsApp Video Call, Accused Arrested By Warje Police
Pune, 27th September 2022: The Warje Police Station have arrested a man from Shiruru who molested a woman by making an obscene video call through WhatsApp.
The arrested has been identified as Sudhir Bapu Kandhare (age 20, resident of Narsobachi Wadi, Shirur). The woman has lodged a complaint with the Warje police station in this regard.
Accused Sudhir made an obscene video call with the woman through WhatsApp on 16th September. The police conducted a technical analysis of the mobile of the accused after registering a case. Police officers Nitin Katurde and Dnyaneshwar Gujar, along with investigating team officer Rameshwar Parve, went to Shirur and took Sudhir into custody. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime.
