Pune: Woman Shop Owner Killed At Her Shop; Bhosari Police Searching For Attacker
Bhosari, 16th August 2022: In Pimpri-Chinchwad, a woman shop owner has been killed by slitting her neck. This incident took place around 10 am today in the Bhosari area.
The name of the deceased woman has been identified as Pooja Devi Prasad (32). Pooja has a shop called ‘Pragati Collection’ and this incident took place there this morning. Bhosari police are searching for the unknown accused.
According to the information given by the police, Pooja opened the shop around 9:30 am and cleaned it. Shortly after around 10 am, someone entered the shop and attacked Pooja on the neck with a knife. There was a scuffle between them, Pooja tried to catch the assailant and chased him for some distance outside the shop. But due to excessive bleeding, Pooja collapsed outside the shop.
Pooja was rushed to the hospital, but it was too late. The reason for the murder is not clear yet. Pooja’s family has been living in the Bhosari area for the past 20 to 25 years. Pimpri Chinchwad police are searching for the attacker.
