After that, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) proposed to do many works along the Ambil Odha. A survey was conducted by the organization Primemove after the floods. In this survey, it was explained that there is a risk of flooding due to the unauthorized constructions along the Ambil stream.

Along with deepening and widening Ambil Odha, construction of culverts, construction of boundary walls, and shifting of water channels were proposed to be done in the area. A plan of Rs 350 crores was also made for that. But even after three years, these works are going on at a slow pace.
