ST Collides With Bike On Pune-Nashik Highway, Woman Dies On Spot
Pune, 12th September 2022: A woman on a two-wheeler died on the spot when an ST bus collided with her vehicle and she came under the wheel of the bus. The accident took place on the Pune-Nashik highway at Varpemala in the limits of Kalamb village at 11:30 am yesterday.
The woman was identified as Sharda Nivritti Bhor (age 58, resident of Chinchwad Nagar).
According to Manchar police, Mayur Nivritti Bhor filed a complaint in this regard. Bhor lives in Shivsai Colony, Chinchwad Nagar, Chinchwadgaon. At Varpemala, within the limits of Kalamb village, the ST heading towards Narayangaon approached at high speed. The bus hit the handle of the motorcycle. He lost his balance and fell. Sharada Nivritti Bhor, who was pillion rider, was crushed by the bus.
An autopsy was conducted at Sub-District Hospital. Mayur Nivritti Bhor has filed a complaint in this matter, and a case has been registered against the ST driver for causing the accident. Manchar police are conducting further investigation.
