Pune: Young Man Injured In Daylight Shooting In Warje Area
Pune, 17th June 2023: A young man was shot in broad daylight in the Warje Malwadi area, raising suspicions of a targeted attack fueled by animosity, according to local authorities.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Suraj Tatyaba Langar, a resident of Warje Malwadi. The motive behind the attack on Langar remains unclear, prompting the police to suspect an ongoing feud as a possible cause.
Around 4 pm, Suraj was near the water tank in Jaibhavani Chowk when three individuals on a motorcycle approached him and fired three shots from a pistol. After getting information, the Warje police swiftly responded to the spot. The shooting incident has caused panic in the area.
Further investigations are underway to determine the exact motive behind the attack and establish the identities of those involved.
