Pune: Young Woman Dies After Accident Of Speeding Bike
Pune, 26th December 2022: A young woman died on the spot in an accident where her boyfriend, who was riding the bike, lost control of the vehicle. The accident took place on 25th December at around 12.30 am in the Bhairobanala area. In this case, the boyfriend has been arrested by Wanwadi police.
The name of the deceased girl is Venkataprasanna Srinivasa Vipuri (22), a resident of Ghorpadi, Mundhwa. Wilson Marrish Pillay (22), a resident of Mohammed Wadi, has been arrested in this case. Sushma Vipuri (19), a resident of Mundhwa, has filed a complaint.
According to the information given by the police, Venkataprasanna and Wilson were travelling on a two-wheeler from the Bhairobanala area at 12.30 am on Christmas. At that time, Wilson lost control of the vehicle due to speeding on the bike. As a result, Wilson lost control of the bike, and it skidded.
Venkataprasanna, sitting on the back of the bike, fell and died on the spot.
After the accident, the Wanwadi police took Wilson into custody. Assistant Police Inspector Rahul Giramkar is investigating.
