Pune: Youth Arrested For Harassing Girl By Singing Songs Outside Her House

Pune, November 5, 2020: A 21-year-old youth has been arrested by Pune city police allegedly for singing songs outside a girl’s house. The incident took place near the Mithganj Police chowky in Ghorpade Peth.

 

The accused has been identified as Soheb Sameer Tamboli (21), a local resident of the area. A 20-year-old woman has filed a complaint with the police against him.

 

According to police, the youth was in one-sided love with the complainant and would follow her wherever she went. He had also asked her for marriage but she refused. He also threatened to kill the girl’s family but the girl was not intimidated by the threat.

 

Tamboli reached her house and sang filmy songs and called the girl out. He was also making an obscene gesture while singing. The girl decided to lodge a complaint with the Khadak police station. The police rushed to the place and arrested him.
