Pune: Youth Beaten And Extorted By Gang In Warje Malwadi Area

Warje Malwadi, 12th December 2022: After having lunch at a hotel, a gang beat up a young man, who was talking to the manager, and extorted money from him. Apart from that, the gang created terror among the citizens by showing them crossbows.

The incident of vandalizing vehicles also took place on Saturday (December 10) at around 11.30 pm at Damini Bar in the Ganpati Matha area.

Rajkumar Anande More (39), a resident of Warje, has filed a complaint at Warje Malwadi Police Station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against Rohit Jatal, along with three others.

After the meal, Rajkumar was chatting with the hotel manager. At that time, Rohit, who was passing by, called his companions and beat up Rajkumar. He took Rs 700 and threatened him with a crossbow.

Apart from that, he threatened other customers in the hotel and created panic. The gang vandalized the vehicles in the area and created terror. Police sub-inspector Parve is investigating the case further.
