Pune: Youth Beaten To Death After Argument Over Removing Vehicles From Parking Space

Narhe, 29th June 2022: A 33-year-old youth was brutally assaulted leading to his death after an argument over removing vehicles from parking space outside New Pyasa Bar on June 26.

Police have identified the deceased as Narendra Raghunath Khaire, a resident of Ambegaon Budruk. He was the son of retired IG of police Raghunath Khaire.

Based on a complaint from API Ashish Kavthekar, an FIR has been registered by Bharati Vidyapeeth police station, Pune city police.

The arrested persons are Yuvraj Jambu Kamble, Omkar Ashok Rithe, Vaibhav Popat Adate, Manoj Dattatray Suryavanshi and Vishnu Kachrun Kadam, all residents of Narhe.

According to police, the incident took place between 5 pm on June 26 to 10 am on June 27 in the parking space outside New Pyasa Bar, Sai Vishwa society in Ambegaon Budruk. The accused beat Narendra Khaire with fists and kicks. They kept his body at Shri Sai Motors and fled. They had also stolen his wallet, phone, headphone etc.

One Vishnu Kadam had seen the accused beating Khaire. However, he did not inform police nor took him to hospital, hence he has been also made accused in the case.

After getting information about the body on Tuesday morning, police rushed to the spot. Based on CCTV footage, the cops nabbed the accused persons.

Senior Police Inspector Jagannath Kalaskar is further investigating the case.
