Floor Test In Maharashtra Assembly Tomorrow, Rebel Shiv Sena MLAs To Return From Guwahati

Mumbai, 29th June 2022: The challenge of floor test finally came before the Uddhav government of Maharashtra. BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis had given the letter of no-confidence motion to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Tuesday night.
After that Koshyari announced to convene a special session on Thursday morning. He said that there will be a floor test in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on June 30 i.e. on Thursday. It will start at 11 am and in any case, it should be completed before 5 pm.
Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde, who is camping with 39 Shiv Sena MLAs in Guwahati, also said that they will leave for Mumbai tomorrow. Shinde had gone for Kamakhya Devi darshan with the MLAs and was answering the media on the question of going to Mumbai.
Late Tuesday night, BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis, Girish Mahajan and Chandrakant Patil had reached the Raj Bhavan demanding a floor test against the Uddhav government. There is a possibility that the Uddhav government can go to the Supreme Court after giving notice of the floor test by the governor.
In fact, on June 26, after the hearing, the Supreme Court had issued notices to Shiv Sena, Deputy Speaker, Maharashtra Police and the Central Government. The next hearing of the court in this matter is on July 11.
Uddhav government is in minority, prove majority
Yesterday, Fadnavis met BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. From there he reached Mumbai in the evening and went to meet the Governor along with the MLAs.
After meeting Governor Koshyari, Fadnavis said, “Uddhav government is in minority, need to prove the majority.”
Congress said – the superpower behind Shinde came to the fore
When Fadnavis reached the Raj Bhavan, the Congress became an attacker. Party leader Sachin Sawant said, “The superpower behind Eknath Shinde has come to the fore.”
On June 24 in a Guwahati hotel, Shinde told the rebel MLAs that we have a superpower with us, and the Uddhav government will fall.
